SPENCER – A three-vehicle accident in the 73 West Main Street area resulted in a road closure while an investigation and reconstruction takes place.
The November 5 incident near Big Y and Sunoco brought two Spencer ambulances and one, mutual aid East Brookfield ambulance to the scene.
Personnel were working at the site of the accident with one person’s injuries classified as “trauma.” No further information was available regarding the extent or type of other injuries.
A team from the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) was requested to reconstruct the accident. CEMLEC is a nonprofit that augments local departments by providing specialized services, equipment and personnel while ensuring the requesting police chief has overall control of law enforcement activities.
